Amari Lemon-Lime Mojito

An updated take on the Island-inspired libation: instead of club soda, Amari Lemon-Lime Sports Recovery Drink adds sweetness, sans sugar. The key to a good Mojito is in the muddling—don't grind or pulverize the mint leaves, just gently crush them to release the aromatic oils. White rum is customary, but vodka works as well.
Amari Mojito
6 large mint leaves, roughly torn
Juice from 1/2 small lime
1 to 2 ounces white rum
Amari Lemon-Lime Sports Recovery Drink
Crushed ice
Mint leaves and lime slices for garnish (optional)
  1. Combine mint leaves and lime juice in a cocktail shaker and use a cocktail muddler to gently crush the mint leaves.
  2. Add rum, Amari Lemon-Lime Sports Recovery Drink and ice. Shake briefly to combine, then strain into a tall cocktail glass. Garnish with mint leaves and slices of lime, if desired, and serve immediately.
Serves 1
Enjoy!
