The Conservation Alliance is a coalition of 250 like-minded businesses who pool resources to fund and advocate for the protection of North America’s wild places. Since 1989, the Alliance has helped to protect 73 million acres of wildlands and 3,575 river miles, removed or halted 36 dams, purchased 17 climbing areas, and designated five marine reserves. For over 30 years, Big City Mountaineers has been inspiring meaningful connections in the great outdoors. Their programs focus on providing access to the outdoors for underrepresented youths from communities that lack access to nature. By providing free, fully outfitted, and professionally led backcountry trips, Big City Mountaineers is able to give youth ages 8 to 18 the opportunity to connect with nature and reconnect with their strengths, skills, and resilience.
