About Passionflower
This flowering vine (Passiflora incarnata), has been used in traditional herbal medicine for hundreds of years to treat stress, calm the mind and enhance mood. Native to North America, passionflower grows throughout the Southeastern United States, North Africa and some European countries. It's is rich in flavonoids and other compounds, thought to work in part by influencing neurotransmitters to promote calm, relieve stress, boost mood and improve sleep.
